1. Take a favorite pair of jeans which fits you just right, and lay it out flat as shown.

2. Measure it across the top.
3. To get the correct waist size, take the measurement and add one-quarter (1/4) inch to it, then multiply that number by two. In the example shown, the jeans measured 14.5 inches across. This results in a waist size of 30.
4. To get the correct inseam (leg length), measure one of the inseams (the seam on the inside of each leg) from where it begins at the crotch to the bottom of the leg. |
